Meet Ashlyn
Ashlyn Ayres Ellington, LCSW is a therapist providing individual treatment, family therapy, and parent coaching. As a child and adolescent therapist, she is passionate about the change families can make through parent work. As a parent herself, she knows the challenges that come with raising humans in today's world. Ashlyn hopes to provide the information she often spends hours teaching in sessions to parents through an easily digestible course so we can all raise up a new generation of emotionally resilient kids.
She received her Bachelors in Psychology from Furman University and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Additionally, Ashlyn completed the Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at University of Georgia.
Ashlyn is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention for the treatment of OCD. She draws on all of these evidence based treatments to create her courses here.
